I am SO READY!

My bags are pack. The house is clean, well fairly clean. My bills are caught up and paid. Annie will go to Lorrie's in the morning. All the "details" are coming together. And I have voted. If you have not already, don't forget to exercise your freedom and duty as a Proud American and VOTE! My own Dad was telling me how lucky I am that because of my freedom that I am able to adopt a child from another China. My Dad is 90 years old and he reminded me how proud he was to be an American. I hope we all can stand tall and feel proud and tell your own family or friends.

I invite everyone who wants to give Jada a Grand American Homecoming at the airport on November 18th at 6:00 pm. We will be coming in from Los Angeles on Southwest Airlines, flight #1093.

Please keep Jada and me in your prayers. It is going to be a wonderful trip as I become a mother to a little girl who has been waiting for me to come and get her. I will tell her about all of you who have supported me and who are so excited to finally meet her! Watch this web page for updates and pictures. (Keep your fingers cross!)

A BIG HUG!!!! See you from CHINA!

PACKING!

Last night, Kristi and daughters, Kelsey and Kathie, came over to help me pack. We can only take one check in bag weighing no more than 44 pounds and one carry-on! We did it! Weighing in at 39 pounds. I will be gone for 18 days and pack everything I need in just one bag. Thanks Kristi for helping.

Now, tonight, all I need to pack is my backpak.

Happy Halloween everybody!

Jada's Room

is ready for her to come home!

See the pictures below for picture of what I think is the sweetest room in the whole world. :) It is much cuter in person. I love it! And I hope Jada does to!

See the dresses on the closet door. My Mother made those dresses 40 plus years ago. They are different sizes. My niece, Julie, was cleaning the upstairs in the house where I grew up and found 8 dresses and a Easter coat in perfect condition! No holes, no stains!!! I am so glad Mom saved these as this is the best gift she could have ever given me. Also, thank you, Jackie, dear friend, for washing them and pressing them so perfect!

I leave in about 18 hours! Counting down! Do any of you think I will sleep tonight!

Just look at these sweet dresses. My own Mother made these dresses for me when I was a little girl. Thank you, Mom! Posted by Hello
