Update on Jane and Jada
It is not working for Jane to send an update to her website from China so Jane has asked me (Kristi) to update everyone on their progress.
Jane had great excitement about her first meeting with Jada. Saying she had butterflies in her stomach is an understatement. Jada was the third baby they brought out for the families. Everyone is teasing her that she is the littlest but also the loudest!!! Jada does not necessary cry all the time she just likes to "squak" and let everyone know that she is there. Jane says she can't remember much of the details because of the excitement of the day but this was truly a life changing moment.
Jada seems healthy except she does have diarrhea, diaper rash and has some congestion. Jada is being very particular in what she is eating so Jane is trying to fiqure out her favorites while keeping her hydrated due to the diarrhea. Jada does not take a bottle or tippy cup so she is having to spoon feed her fluids at times. Jada is a very curious baby and likes to be out and about seeing the world all around her, so Jane has done alot of walking around the hotel with her wrapped up in her "snuggly".
Jada loves her bath time and enjoys watching the fountain in the hotel lobby. Jada can sit up from a laying position and her favorite toys are the baby shampoo containers they use for her bath.
Jane askes for prayer: for Jada's diarrhea to resolve, her diaper rash to heal, the anxieties of being a new mom to decrease and for Jada and Jane to continue to make a mother/daughter bond.
Jane will update more when she can. She loves you all and thanks everyone for their support of her.
