Busy, Busy, Busy

Wow, this last week has been a whirlwind. So much to do in little time. I received an email on Friday that our possible travel date might be 11-4-04. 6 WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!! That means that I will be with Jada in China on her first birthday and then home in KC for Thanksgiving. My prayer has always been that she would be home for Christmas. Well, it looks like she will be home even before Thanksgiving. A wonderful answered prayer.

This past week, I don't think I have ever been busier. In addition to working, I have cleaned out the upstairs, went to a parenting class about the adoptive child (all day long), scheduled an appointment with Jada's doctor, registered for gifts, worked on Jada's quilt, and on and on and on. Thank goodness for all my great friends for their continued support and help. I feel like I have left so much to the last minute but really I haven't. She is just coming home sooner than I had ever anticipated and I am so GLAD!!! But, no matter how busy I am, I will still take a moment to show anyone Jada's picture and share everything I know about her.

This week I am heading home to show Jada's pictures/information with my dear parents and siblings. More fun to show her off!!!!!!!!!!!
