Showered with love and gifts for Jada!
On October 23, Dee gave me a shower at First Watch for our Ladies Group from my church. I wished I had a good picture to post from this shower. The girls gave me such sweet gifts and I really appreciated their prayers and support. Thank you, ladies.....
Then on October 24, Lorrie and Kristi gave me a shower for friends at work plus a few old friends from years past. I know many people brought food also! It was great seeing so many people! Everyone was so generous. It was very humbling for me to sit up in front of everyone and open gifts. All the gifts were such a blessing. Thank you all for sharing in my excitement throughout this whole journey.
Finally, many of you have been stopping by offering me your support and dropping off gifts. Thank you!
I am leaving in less than 48 hours. WOW!!!! I am so lucky for the time change to have an extra hour to get things done. haha The travel plans are all set. FINALLY. Making the travel arrangements were the most stressful part of the entire adoption process. But, now, I have my tickets and pack to go!
